What youll do Supporting young people, aged 16-25, who may be facing homelessness, mental health challenges, exploitation or substance abuse, helping them to develop the skills to live independently. Encouraging and empowering young people to achieve their goals, whether its finding stable housing, securing employment or building confidence. Helping with day to day takes such as budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation. Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. Cuppas, chats and catch ups. The practical bits Due to our service being regulated by Ofsted you must have experience supporting young people. Youll work a four-week rolling rota, a mixture of weekdays and weekends. Where were flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion. Able to use technology to update support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues. Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
