Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a Drama Graduate for one of our key partner secondary schools that is based in Orrell.
The school seek to appoint a drama graduate for a full-time position where the incoming member of staff will be required to work closely with the Heads of Department to ensure that lessons operate smoothly and that students within the school receive an excellent level of education.
The school wish to appoint a Drama graduate in order to provide classroom support alleviating pressure from the main class teacher and to provide lesson cover where a teacher is absent.
Drama Graduate Position
- Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant and 1:1 Support responsibilities
- Full-time role from with a starting September 2024
- Pay rates £84-95

This exciting position is available for someone who now wishes to gain further experience within a secondary school environment ahead of completing a teacher training course in the future.
The school wish to appoint an individual who is able to build good relationships with students aged 11-16 and is able to have a positive affect on their learning within school. The incoming member of staff must be flexible and be able to adapt to a number of varied roles that they will be responsible for within school.
Responsibilities will include
- General Teaching Assistant duties – Supporting the main class teacher ensuring lessons operate smoothly
- Providing lesson cover where a teacher is absent – This will be fully supported by the school
- Working closely with students on a 1:1 basis – Providing support to students who require additional support throughout the day.
Located on the outskirts of Wigan town centre this school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Ashton-in-Makerfield, Golborne and Tyldesley via the M6 motorway. There are also direct transport links from Wigan town centre.
