About the Role:
* Job Type: Temporary/supply with potential for longer-term placements
* Location: Various nursery settings across Newcastle
* Hours: Flexible (full-time or part-time, term-time or year-round options available)
Key Responsibilities:
* Support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework
* Deliver creative, engaging, and age-appropriate activities
* Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety procedures
* Encourage children’s personal, social, and emotional growth
Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
* Experience in a nursery or early years setting
* Solid knowledge of the EYFS and child development
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
* Friendly, professional, and reliable approach
* Paediatric First Aid certificate (required)
