Who You Are You are an experienced Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with a strong commitment to delivering excellence in adult social care. You possess a relevant degree and professional qualification, are registered with HCPC, and have demonstrated your ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external customers. Your strong understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005, supports your capability in providing effective service delivery. You possess exemplary skills in communication, leadership, and inter-agency collaboration. What the Job Involves This role is with the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in Community Care Services. You will manage a caseload of customers with complex needs, conducting assessments, creating support plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You will work to promote independence, manage referrals, and lead safeguarding investigations where necessary. You will take responsibility for proportionate risk assessments, participate in team working practices, and deliver support plans tailored to customer’s needs. You will maintain professional standards and support the team leader in managing staff performance and development.
