About the Client:Based in Manchester, our client is a world-leading centre of excellence in scientific research and provide basic, translational and clinical research programmes.
About the Personal Assistant role:This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking, operations-orientated EA to support the Institute Director where you will lead on the delivery and operational management of the office. You will work proactively and flexibly in response to consistent changes in demands and priorities. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Internal and external stakeholder meeting coordination
* Complex diary management, ensuring itineraries are maximised and aligned on all priorities and commitments
* Preparation of documents and briefings for all events and meetings to ensure the Director is fully prepped
* Proactive management of their inbox to ensure timely responses, appropriate delegation and prioritisation of critical communications
* Acting as a 'gatekeeper' in communications when appropriate
Candidate Specification:
* Previous experience as a Personal Assistant in a 1:1 capacity is required.
* Experience working with an operational mindset.
* Extensive experience working with busy and ever changing schedules.
* Confidence in managing complex diaries and international travel.
* A positive can-do attitude with the ability to manage changing priorities with confidence.
* The ability to thrive in a busy environment.
Additional Information:
* Salary up to £52k depending on experience.
* Core hours at 9am - 5:30pm.
* South Manchester location.
* Fully office-based.
