An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Speech & Language Therapist with highly specialist clinical skills to work within an Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Programme at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN). The post is being offered as a 2 year fixed term contract to deliver an ICAP with a randomised control trial in collaboration with University College London and City St George’s University.
You will join a wider team of SLTs based at NHNN. The SLT team has a well-established system for formal / informal support and professional supervision. The SLT service has a very high profile within the multidisciplinary range of services provided at NHNN.
Main duties of the job
The post offers a novel opportunity to provide high dose, specialist input for people with aphasia in a highly skilled multidisciplinary team in an outpatient setting. The post will play a key role in the leadership and development of the service and staff.
