This role involves supporting an individual with various needs and interests, ensuring a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
Support Details: The individual has mobility support with a rollator and power chair, and requires assistance with personal care, health conditions such as cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, and scoliosis. Support staff are trained to meet these needs and can discuss additional medical requirements.
Personal Interests and Activities: The individual enjoys outdoor activities like shopping, dining out, visiting London, attending church, concerts, and tours. Other interests include trains, quiz nights, football, and attending a day centre twice weekly. They prefer company over solitude, enjoy watching television, and chatting with staff.
Environment and Staffing: The home provides a happy, safe, and respectful environment with staff present day and night, including sleep-in shifts. Flexibility in shift times is required, with a focus on maintaining a clean, friendly, and individual-centered home.
