We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary setting in the Winteringham area.
Role Details
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract: Temporary (until Christmas)
* Hours: Full-time, term-time only
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored educational activities.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs, promoting their well-being and engagement.
* Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties).
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for helping children thrive.
