Hourly rate: £14.85 per hour + London Weighting
Opportunity to earn additional hourly rate between £0.25 - £4.38 based on skill set and behaviours.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our successful team at Portakabin Hire & Service Centre based in Crawley. In this role, you will refurbish and fit out our buildings to high standards, support installation and dismantling, and carry out rectifications.
Role Responsibilities
1. Prepare and decorate surfaces internally and externally.
2. Perform basic joinery tasks such as installing partition walls, doors, and windows.
3. Carry out basic plumbing tasks including sink and toilet installation, waste, and drainage.
4. Support basic electrical work such as installing sockets, heaters, and lighting.
5. Assist in fitting out and refurbishing buildings on and off-site.
6. Operate mechanical plant and erect access platforms as needed.
7. Maintain health and safety standards, report hazards and near misses.
8. Provide customer-focused service and utilize reused materials when possible.
Essential Skills
* Experience in joinery, plumbing, painting, decorating, and electrics.
* Strong relationship-building skills with customers and colleagues.
* Enthusiasm for demanding goals and good organizational skills.
* Problem-solving abilities and decision-making experience.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
