The Head Teacher and Governors of our school as excited to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to our committed and passionate staff team. The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusion and have experience of working with children with both SEMH and SEND needs, showing the ability to be adaptable and a true team player. The successful candidate will
* Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. (Essential)
* Possess excellent literacy and mathematics skills. (Essential and qualifications will need to be provided at interview for both)
* Demonstrate an understanding of SEND learners with ASC and/or physical disabilities
Demonstrate an understanding of bespoke pathways and specific intervention approaches to support a range of SEND learners
Organise and prepare resources that are appropriate to children ability and needs
Maintain a high quality learning environment
Follow, contribute and share schemes of work for all subjects taught
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Possess an understanding of how best to support children's personal, social and emotional wellbeing.
* Be able to motivate and inspire children to learn.
* Be able to use ICT to support learning.
* Be able to support the needs and development of all learners in our inclusive school.
* Have a secure knowledge in supporting learners with a diagnosis of autism.
* Work alongside the class teacher, SENDCo and other practitioners to meet statutory needs of learners' Educational Health Care Plans.

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August, therefore, if you commence employment part way through the academic year, they will be subject to an equated salary adjustment.
