The Role You will be responsible for gas servicing, heating breakdown repairs, and planned maintenance across a varied housing portfolio. Key Responsibilities Carry out gas servicing, repairs, and maintenance to properties Complete planned maintenance checks, replace parts, and repair leaks Install and repair heating system pipework and components Advise residents on gas safety and energy efficiency best practice Use iPad-based systems to update service records in real time Ensure compliance with Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations and internal standards Maintain safe working practices at all timesWhat You’ll Receive Salary up to £44,520 per annum (DOE) £335 yearly tool allowance Competitive on-call and overtime rates Van and fuel card for business use Uniform and PPE provided iPhone and iPad supplied Matched pension contributions up to 12% Life cover at 4x salary 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service) Option to buy or sell up to 5 days leave Private medical, dental, and critical illness coverWhat We’re Looking For Essential qualifications: CCN1 – Core Gas Safety CENWAT1 – Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters MET1 – Meters CKR1 – Domestic Cookers HTR1 – Gas Fires & Wall Heaters NVQ Level 2 in Domestic Plumbing (or equivalent) preferred Full UK driving licence Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach Experience in gas servicing and breakdown repairsDesirable Experience within social housing Able to work independently and as part of a team Confident using IT devices such as iPadsCompliance This role is subject to a licence check, verification of qualifications, and a basic DBS check.
