About the Role
:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations within our highland schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of cleaners, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained across all areas, and reporting directly to management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff
· Ensure all areas are cleaned to high standards, including offices, staircases, landings, classrooms, and toilets
· Oversee tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning sinks, replenishing supplies, and operating cleaning machinery where required
· Train, support, and motivate staff to deliver consistent quality
· Carry out regular inspections to maintain hygiene and safety standards
· Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning materials
· Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly
· Consistently deliver excellent customer service
· Ensured full compliance with company policies and procedures
Role Criteria:
· Experience in the above duties
· Previous supervising experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills
· IT literate with strong attention to detail
Desirable:
· Previous experience in a cleaning environment
