Not only do you have the chance to be a community hero, but you will also be paid for your time! The hourly pay rate for this position starts at £13.45 per hour. A 10% enhancement is applied when working weekends giving £14.79 per hour, or a 15% enhancement for hours worked between 10pm and 5am giving £15.47 per hour. You will receive an increase each year, eventually reaching £13.99 after four years (£16.09 night rate) A current SIA Public Space CCTV license is desirable, but not essential.
