Spire Norwich Hospital are looking to bring on an Electrical Engineer to join their established team to assist Engineering Manager and work as part of the engineering team to provide a comprehensive and cost efficient service within the hospital. Duties & Responsibilities: To provide an in-house day to day reactive maintenance service. To undertake maintenance/testing of equipment, ensuring compliance with current HTM recommendations and legislative guidance. Assist in implementation and preventative maintenance programme for all building services, equipment and associated records. To identify personal training and development requirements, and to discuss appropriate solutions with their line manager. To liaise with external contractors providing specialist services to building/building services/equipment. To provide out of hours emergency on-call service. To complete weekly records of plant and services to ensure within required parameters. To order materials required for maintenance purposes ensuring appropriate levels of back-up stocks, and proper storage and security. To deputise in the absence of the Engineering Manager and undertake any other duties as assigned. To attend 100% mandatory training and relevant ongoing professional development. What we are looking for: Qualified as Electrical Tradesmen to City & Guilds 232/236 or equivalent (ESSENTIAL) Post qualification experience (ESSENTIAL) Ability to work autonomously Qualified in 18th edition IET regulations is desirable but not essential.
