Job Description
Service Care Solutions are partnering with a highly reputable wealth management firm to recruit an experienced Financial Planner / Wealth Manager to take over an established, high-quality client bank from a departing adviser.
This is an exceptional opportunity to inherit a ready-made portfolio of approximately 150 households, with asset sizes ranging from £200k to £1.8m, and deliver premium, relationship-based financial planning.
Although this is a servicing-focused role, there is an opportunity to build up significant new business which will also result in bonuses for the Advisor.
Key Responsibilities
Inherit and service a high-quality client bank (circa 150 households).
Deliver holistic financial planning including investments, pensions, protection, and cashflow modelling.
Conduct approximately 7–8 client meetings per week, with larger clients expecting two annual reviews.
Ensure timely meeting notes, documentation, and follow-up actions to support the paraplanning team’s production of suitability reports.
Provide advice aligned with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and the firm’s premium service expectations.
Identify opportunities for additional planning, ensuring client needs are continually met.
Build long-term relationships and deliver a consistent, high-touch client experience.Candidate Criteria
Level 4 qualified (DipPFS / DipFA or equivalent).
Proven experience advising private clients, ideally with £200k–£1.5m+ portfolios.
Strong technical competence across investments, pensions, tax planning, and retirement strategy.
Ability to deliver compliant, client-focused financial planning.
Highly organised with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Bonuses
Compliance Bonus:
Up to £8,000 per annum for maintaining a 95%+ pass mark on file checks throughout the year.New Business Bonus (Initial Advice Fees):
First £60,000: 10%
£60,000 – £90,000: 20%
£90,000 – £120,000: 30%
£120,000+: 50%Firmwide Profit Share:
