The Talent & Culture Coordinator will be an all-rounder when it comes to ability to contribute to all areas of HR, will have a great “hands-on” attitude, be positive and sociable, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for recruitment processes, facilitating new hire procedures and supporting with day-to-day HR operations. They will meet and exceed all company and individual goals in line with the company’s policies, procedures and values.
1. Attract the best people for our Retail, Sales and Supporting functions in Ria UK and Ireland.
2. Manage the recruitment process on our internal ATS (OCR) and external recruitment channels. indeed and LinkedIn:
3. Post requisitions/job posts.
4. Provide support to the hiring managers for any issues arising in OCR.
5. Monitor incoming applications & explore ways to drive visibility to increase applications.
6. Maintain & improve recruitment KPI’s and recruitment effectiveness with initiatives to ensure we remain current to attract new talent.
7. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, including responding to applications on time.
8. Act as a trusted advisor to Hiring Managers during recruitment process to ensure the most suitable candidates are hired and align to Ria values, policies and procedures.
9. Source, phone screen and conduct 1st stage interviews.
10. Co-ordinate and conduct 2nd stage interviews either together with the hiring managers or the final stage interviews.
11. Preparing job offer letters and issue to the successful candidates.
Onboarding
12. Own the onboarding cycle for new joiners, ensuring an amazing experience for all new hires:
13. Perform pre-employment checks: verify right to work, request background and reference checks via HireRight.
14. Organise inductions/training for the new employee’s first weeks; including meeting departmental Managers to get full understanding of the business.
15. Co-ordinate and carry out HR inductions.
16. First line support for new joiners during onboarding & their probation period.
17. Monitor the process of Probation Appraisal reviews. Follow up with employees/managers to make sure they have been completed.
18. Prepare and issue employment contracts and employment schedules.
Admin
19. Prepare contractual documentation in relation to successful/unsuccessful probation confirmations, variations of employment and notifying payroll of employee updates.
20. Support with monitoring HR inbox:
21. Responding to employee questions.
22. Drafting. employment confirmation letters.
23. Solving system access issues.
24. Guidance on policies and procedures.
25. Update job descriptions and Org charts.
26. Participating in HR projects and support HR Manager with ad hoc requests.
27. Support with data quality in HR systems.
28. Support with the implementation of a new ATS (late 2024).
29. Occasional support with cover in absence of Office Assistant: travel and meeting requests, couriers and building access.
