Job Description: We are seeking a Graduate Specialist Application Engineer to contribute to the development and delivery of our strategic goals by providing tailored integrated solutions for our target applications. In this role, you will support customers such as Rolls Royce, MBDA, Safran, NASA and Thales, along with our regional sales teams, to facilitate new business development, introduce new products, and continuously enhance our understanding of relevant applications and markets, such as Aerospace, Space and Defence. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with customers to inspect and complete requirements specifications. - Provide initial export classification for products in compliance with UK export regulations. - Carry out calculations and initiate bearing designs using Mesys. - Define specifications for product design and coordinate with design and manufacturing departments. - Approve customer delivery drawings and bearing specifications. - Initiate and assist in the quotation process. - Provide consultation and assistance for complaints, damage cases, and returns analyses. - Initiate innovative developments in bearings and systems based on market opportunities and customer requirements. - Assist in generating catalogues and technical publications. - Deliver presentations and participate in specialized seminars and symposia. - Travel domestically and internationally to customers, trade exhibitions, and other HQW sites. Education: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subject accredited by IMechE.
