A leading engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to take ownership of the HR function at its Cookstown site.
Your New Role
As Senior HR Advisor, you will provide comprehensive HR support across all day‑to‑day operational matters while also contributing to wider HR projects that add long‑term value. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand operational needs, improve efficiencies and champion a positive, inclusive culture. This is a stand‑alone, hands‑on generalist role supporting approximately 90 employees and acting as a trusted partner to managers, supervisors and team members. You will build strong relationships with managers and supervisors to deliver effective end‑to‑end HR processes. Provide coaching and guidance to managers, supervisors and team members. Support performance management, including goal setting, capability assessment and calibration. Partner with stakeholders to deliver people‑focused initiatives and drive engagement. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring high‑quality talent acquisition. Lead change management, engagement and Culture & Inclusion activities. Oversee onboarding, HR orientation and probation processes. Maintain and update HR policies and ensure consistent application. Support continuous improvement initiatives and embed value‑adding HR practices. Proactively manage absence and coordinate occupational health provision. Handle disciplinary and grievance matters professionally and in line with legislation.Administer payroll for both salaried and weekly‑paid employees. Plan, organise and deliver training and development activities across all levels.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Ideally we would like you to have the following qualifications:
* HR‑related degree advantageous.
* CIPD membership or working towards qualification.
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to work as part of a wider HR team across multiple sites.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
* Experience producing weekly, monthly and quarterly HR reports.
Experience & Skills
* Proven experience in a fast‑paced HR generalist role.
* Strong employee relations background with sound NI legislation knowledge.
* Demonstrated experience acting as a true HR business partner.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong IT capability and confidence working with HR systems.
* Ability to balance operational demands with project‑based work.
* Creative thinker with an understanding of how short‑term decisions impact long‑term goals.
