We currently have an opportunity to join our Fleet Maintenance team as a LGV Mechanic and MOT tester.
Salary offered within the grade will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
Your Role
As part of our dedicated Workshop Team, your day-to-day role would involve inspecting, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet any appropriate legislation requirements. If you are a hardworking and motivated individual who can keep our fleet of vehicles moving, then this might be just the opportunity for you. The role involves attending breakdown callouts within the working day, ensuring excellent and professional service to both internal and external customers, as well as using your technical expertise and initiative to make sound judgments and ensure roadworthiness.

What You Will Need
To be successful in this role, you need to be a hard-working and motivated individual, who can work on your own initiative but also have good teamwork skills. You will need:
* An NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance Repair
* IRTEC registration or willingness to work towards this
* UK Category B Driving Licence
* Be qualified to or have a willingness to work towards DVSA standards for MOT Class 4, 5 and 7 inspections
* Be a motivated, supportive, and effective team player
