Salary: £35,412 - £49,282 depending on qualifications and experience

Working Arrangements: Agile Working - minimum 3 days in the office

This is a full-time role. We are committed to supporting work–life balance, and requests for flexible working, including job share, will be considered in line with the needs of the service. Given the requirement for continuity of support to service users, any flexible working arrangements would need to ensure consistency in case management.

Hours per week: 37

Contract type: Permanent

About the Post

To apply for this post you must have a Social Work Degree and be registered with Social Work England.

We are a council that prioritises Children’s Services and are recruiting a motivated professional social worker to join our Children and Young People Team, based in Cudworth. We emphasise working collaboratively with families and becoming a signs of safety local authority. The role offers a full suite of development and training opportunities.

You will be part of a team delivering a service where children feel safe, are listened to, and receive timely, creative and individual responses. You will focus on outcomes for children and young people; ensuring that interventions are meaningful and proportionate.

A confident and experienced qualified social work professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have experience of working with children subject to Child In Need, Child Protection and in care proceedings, and working in partnership with families and agencies to drive plans and promote outcomes.

We provide a comprehensive induction programme, dedicated supervision and a commitment to your learning with a robust Continuous Professional Development programme through our Practice Development Hub.
