The Role - Health & Social Care Teacher The school is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Health & Social Care to cover an absence within the department. You will be responsible for delivering Health & Social Care at KS4 and KS5, making this role suitable for Early Career Teachers, experienced teachers, and practitioners with BTEC or A-Level experience. The ability to teach Psychology or Sociology alongside Health & Social Care would be advantageous, though not essential. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons at KS4 and KS5 Inspiring learners and supporting strong academic progress Contributing positively to the wider Social Science Department Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and engagement Person Specification The successful candidate will: Hold QTS, QTLS, or be an Overseas Trained Teacher with UK-recognised qualifications (NARIC/ECCTIS) Unqualified teachers with relevant experience will also be considered Demonstrate the ability to engage, motivate and challenge students Show commitment to maintaining high standards and working collaboratively within a progressive department Why Apply?
