The Finance Business Partner Role
As Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with both finance and operational teams to support the achievement of annual business targets. This is a varied and hands-on role, encompassing cost management, business planning, budgeting and forecasting, investment appraisal, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
The company is currently implementing a major ERP upgrade, and you'll play an active role in supporting this transition within your area.
Key Responsibilities:
Take financial ownership of specific projects, providing insight and guidance to stakeholders
Deliver accurate and timely management information, with a focus on cost analysis and control
Manage overhead budgets for assigned departments
Contribute to the successful implementation of the new ERP system
This position offers exposure to a wide range of manufacturing finance activities, covering both cost base and project-related work, and provides strong opportunities for career progression within a dynamic and growing team.
Requirements:
Part-qualified or qualified accountant with experience in a large manufacturing environment
Proven track record in business partnering with operational teams, especially around manufacturing performance metrics and cost control
Strong background in project and/or overhead cost management in a manufacturing setting
ERP experience (knowledge of SAP an advantage)
Benefits:
Salary up to £55,000
Bonus and paid overtime
