Head of Design Fa??ade & Aluminium Systems
My client are a family–owned fa??ade business with a strong pipeline, modern facilities, and a clear focus on the future.
They're investing heavily in people, capability and compliance and now looking for a Head of Design to lead that journey.
This is a real leadership role, not just managing drawings. You ll take full ownership of the design function raising standards, improving process, and building a strong, motivated team around you.
What You ll Do
* Lead and manage the design team day to day
* Set design standards and processes that fit the new regulatory environment
* Review and approve drawings and technical details
* Collaborate closely with PMs, commercial, fabrication and site teams
* Support bids and tenders with strong technical input
* Engage directly with architects and main contractors
* Mentor junior designers and build the department
What they're Looking For
* Proven fa??ade / aluminium systems background (windows, doors, curtain walling)
* Strong AutoCAD skills (Revit/BIM a plus)
* Excellent grasp of CWCT standards, regulations and compliance
* Confident communicator, detail–focused, organised
* Someone who takes accountability, challenges the norm, and drives improvement
