Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £28-32,000
A well established architectural practice in Birmingham is looking to appoint a talented and experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join its growing team. You will play a key supporting role in the design and technical delivery of projects, working closely with senior staff across all RIBA work stages. This position is suited to a proactive individual with several years of professional experience who is eager to develop greater responsibility and progress towards Part 3 qualification.
Requirements: RIBA Part 1 and Part 2 qualifications from an ARB or RIBA approved school Several years of post Part 2 professional experience within a UK practice Strong working knowledge of RIBA work stages and UK Building Regulations Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp alongside Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Experience assisting with planning applications, technical packages and tender documentation Ambitious, organised and confident working both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities: Support project Architects in the development and delivery of projects across all stages Prepare design proposals, technical drawings and detailed construction information Assist with planning submissions and building control documentation Attend client, consultant and site meetings and accurately record information Co ordinate information with external consultants and internal team members Maintain organised project records, drawings and QA documentation
