We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Prop Workshop Supervisor with exceptional prop-making abilities including: metal fabrication, carpentry, and mould making, to join our fantastic team.
Job Description:
The Prop Workshop Supervisor assists the Prop Workshop Manager in the safe and efficient production, manufacture, and refurbishment of props for ENO and Engage productions, ensuring that the very highest standards are always maintained. They will work with the Head of Props, Prop Workshop Manager, Prop Supervisors, and visiting designers to support the artistic vision of all productions.

Job Requirements
* Proven ability to recruit staff and manage personnel budgets for a freelance workshop
* Excellent prop construction skills
* Ability to instruct and guide others in prop-making techniques
* Ability to work from scale drawings, sketches, and verbal descriptions
* Experience in estimating and budgeting for props
* Knowledge of styles and periods
* Strong organizational, motivational, and communication skills
* Understanding of other departments' relationship to the Prop Department
* Ability to collaborate with designers to realize their ideas
* Knowledge of workshop machinery, tools, maintenance, and safety
* Understanding of Health and Safety legislation, COSHH, and safe workshop practices
* Computer literacy
