A fast-growing PE backed services company based in South West London is looking to hire a Project Accountant to support the CFO.
As Project Accountant you will to support post-acquisition integrations and financial due diligence across a number of completed and future acquisitions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys project-based work, thrives in change environments and wants exposure to transactions without being stuck in a traditional reporting role.
Key Responsibilities:
Post-Acquisition Integration
* Lead and support financial integration of newly acquired businesses
* Align accounting policies, processes and controls across group entities
* Support implementation of group reporting, budgeting and forecasting frameworks
* Identify integration risks, synergies and opportunities for improvement
* Act as a key finance contact between the acquired business and group finance
Due Diligence Support
* Assist with financial due diligence on potential acquisitions
* Analyse historical financial performance, working capital, cash flow and balance sheet items
* Support quality of earnings analysis and identification of red flags
* Prepare clear, concise financial analysis for senior stakeholders and investors
Project & Stakeholder Management
* Work cross-functionally with operations, tax, legal and external advisors
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, often to tight deal timelines
* Produce high-quality analysis and presentations for leadership teams
About You
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (essential)
* Strong technical accounting foundation with commercial awareness
* Experience in M&A, transaction services, audit, integration, or project accounting
* Confident working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
* Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
* Clear communicator who can engage both finance and non-finance stakeholders
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an excellent CFO to support as the business continues to grow. This is a hybrid role that will require 3 days a week in the office and 2 days from home
