A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Central London.\n\nThe main objective of the role is to deliver the commercial management for a portfolio of projects as part a major CP7 rail framework.\n\nKey duties will include:\nManage financial performance, ensuring profit target and efficiency savings are achieved.\nManage change control, disputes, risks and opportunities effectively.\nLead the negotiation and ongoing management of subcontractors.\nEnsure the supply chain are fully compliant and build trusted partnerships.\nMaintain accurate cost plans and project forecasts.\nUndertake monthly progress reports and cost value reconciliation.\n\nWhy Apply?\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading contractor and work on a major rail framework based from Central London worth £10bn over the next 10 years.\nYou will be joining a high calibre, growing, team and be delivering significant results for the client and the framework. \nThis role offers a stable pipeline of long-term works and, as such, is a brilliant opportunity for anyone looking to develop and progress their commercial career.\n\nFurther Details\nOur client is responsible for the delivery of 3 separate contracts as part of the CP7 framework, each worth between £30m - £50m and comprising of 10-50 small jobs.\nYou will be responsible for a portfolio of 5-10 live framework projects at any one time, with individual projects ranging in value from £250k - £2m.\nThere will be a strong focus on financial reporting in this role. As such you must be confident in cost planning, and tracking and forecasting costs to ensure accuracy across assigned live jobs.\nThis role will involve change management activities across assigned projects, ensuring these are responded to within contracted times.
All change control activities will be downstream to the supply chain.\n\nCandidate Requirements\nOur client is looking for Project Quantity Surveyors looking for a career move. They are also keen to see experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyors looking for career progression.\nMinimum of 3 years' commercial experience delivering projects in a high volume, low value environment across any sector.\nYou will have demonstrable experience of supporting the delivery of multiple projects at a time, and possess strong reporting skills.\nRelevant quantity surveying or commercial management degree
