PURPOSE OF ROLE
Are you an experienced underwriter seeking an exciting new opportunity? Our client, a leading and forward-thinking insurer, is looking for a Senior Development Underwriter to join their team. In this role, you will build strong relationships with brokers and client and drive sustainable growth through strategic underwriting.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Underwrite and grow a profitable book of business
* Develop and maintain broker and client relationships
* Analyse risk exposure, ensuring competitive pricing and coverage
* Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes
* Contribute to process improvements and product development
EXPERIENCE
* Proven experience in senior development underwriting
* Strong commercial underwriting and risk assessment background
* Success in managing broker relationships and driving growth
* Knowledge of market trends and regulatory requirements
SKILLS
* Strong technical underwriting and risk assessment skills
* Excellent relationship management and negotiation abilities
* Commercial acumen to identify and seize business opportunities
* Clear, effective communication and analytical thinking
