Senior Buyers (Direct and Indirect Procurement) to join our team at our Gaydon site. In this role, you’ll be a key player in sourcing and delivering the parts and services that power our next-generation vehicles. Whether you're developing Electrical, Powertrain, Chassis, or Marketing commodity areas you’ll be helping shape the future of Aston Martin.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development of commodity strategies, manage supplier relationships, and proactively mitigate risks — all while identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring we meet technical, quality, and timing targets.
* Manage and develop a team of buyers, so strong people management experience is essential.
What We’re Looking For / Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in a senior buying or procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Automotive experience is preferred, but we also welcome expertise from other sectors such as aerospace or motorsport. You’ll be confident evaluating costs, negotiating with suppliers, and influencing internal stakeholders. A collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, strategic approach will help you thrive in this role. While a degree is desirable, your experience and attitude are what matter most.
