Commercial Hospitality & Events Manager
Location: Independent School (Oxfordshire)
Salary: £40,000 to £48,000
A rare opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader to shape and deliver a premium events and commercial hospitality programme within a prestigious independent school setting. This senior role combines strategic commercial development with hands‑on operational leadership, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across a diverse year‑round events calendar.
The Role
* Lead the commercial hospitality and events function, driving revenue growth and premium service delivery.
* Oversee the planning and execution of internal and external events, fine and casual dining, and hospitality experiences.
* Work closely with culinary and operational leaders to ensure quality, consistency and innovation.
* Manage and develop a small hospitality team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
* Hold responsibility for financial performance, forecasting, pricing and P&L management.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, policies and regulations.

* Senior experience in hospitality, events or commercial operations within high‑quality environments.
* Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue growth.
* Confident leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Highly organised, adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting.
