SEMH Teaching Assistant - SecondarySalary: £22,000 - £23,000 per annumHours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:15pm We are seeking a resilient and committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. This is a rewarding but demanding role where you will work closely with students who require structured support, emotional regulation strategies, and consistent boundaries to succeed academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and small group support Supporting behaviour management and de-escalation Building positive, professional relationships with students Assisting teachers in delivering adapted lessons Important: The school is not easily accessible via public transport, so access to your own transport is highly recommended.
