Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting Fortinet solutions in a production environment. Essential skills/qualifications Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) certifications, such as Network Security, Security Operations or; The older Fortinet NSE 5 equivalent qualifications. Relevant networking certifications like CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network, or equivalent. Technical Skills Strong expertise in Fortinet hardware and software, including FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiAP, and FortiSwitch. Solid understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, NAT, and IPSec/SSL VPNs. Experience with SD-WAN configurations and deployments.Proven ability to handle escalations and resolve Familiarity with telecom network architectures, including MPLS and broadband technologies. Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or similar platforms. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder interactions. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast- paced environment.
