Welder / Fabricator
Location: Bolton
Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 (dependent on experience + benefits)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
A well-established engineering manufacturer that designs and builds bespoke machinery for customers worldwide is looking to recruit an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join its team.
The business supplies specialist machinery to customers in over 30 countries and has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. The Role of the Welder / Fabricator
The Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for producing high-quality stainless-steel fabrications in line with engineering drawings and project specifications.
Responsibilities of the Welder / Fabricator
• TIG welding and fabricating stainless steel frames to specification
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Cutting, shaping and assembling materials accurately
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project requirements
• Using workshop machinery and fabrication tools safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements of the Welder / Fabricator
* Time Served Welder / Fabricator
* At least 2 year’s experience as a Welder Fabricator
* Strong TIG welding experience
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable and hardworking with good timekeeping
* Understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing or workshop environment
