Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction painting and demonstrate excellent communication skills. This role involves transforming spaces through high-quality painting and decorating, ensuring that every project meets our clients' expectations for both aesthetics and durability.
Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
* Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Select appropriate materials and colours based on client specifications and project requirements.
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and within agreed timelines.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in construction painting or a similar role is essential.
* A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel to various job sites.
* Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members.
* Strong communication skills to ensure clarity in client interactions and teamwork.
