Are you ready to power up your career with an opportunity that not only leverages your analytical skills but also places you at the heart of the UK's energy sector? Discover what it means to be a driving force at UK Power Networks as our new Registration Analyst, based in our Crawley office.
Imagine joining a team where your expertise directly influences the integrity and reliability of a national utility. As a Registration Analyst, you will become the cornerstone of our Registration Service (MPAS), working to improve address and registration data quality while taking the lead as a business analyst in one or more critical areas of registration. Your efforts will support the management of over 8.5 million metering points and underpin trading and settlement activities worth £10bn each year. Every day you'll help maintain over 100,000 address updates, oversee 20,000 logical disconnections, and ensure the safety of 45,000 idle services-all vital to keeping our network running smoothly.
Join us, and you'll earn a salary of £30,816 plus a 7.5% bonus with other benefits.
What will you do in this role? You'll deliver and maintain the core systems that power the Registration Service, ensuring MPAN address accuracy and data quality for third-party use. You'll handle routine industry data flows, collaborate on CVA meter registration and data integrity with external partners, and lead programmes to improve address quality, reporting outcomes directly to Ofgem. Whether testing and implementing software changes, managing retrospective amendments, or producing clear, accurate reports, your attention to detail will make a measurable difference. You'll also contribute to process development and compliance, helping train others and ensuring our systems meet ISO 9001 standards.
We're searching for someone with at least five GCSEs (A*-C or 9-4, including English and Maths or equivalent) and two years' experience in registration, customer data management, a commercial role, or the UK energy supply industry. You'll be numerate, meticulous, and adept at building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. As the team's in-house expert, you'll help guide decisions and escalate issues promptly, making a real impact every day.
