About the role

This role is for someone who wants to make a real impact on product quality and is ready to grow within a global organisation. You will take ownership of ensuring that components from our suppliers meet the standards our products demand. When something isn’t quite right, you’ll spot it, assess the risk, and work with internal teams to keep production running smoothly. You will lead the charge on corrective and preventive actions, using your analytical mindset to strengthen our processes. You will work independently within a supportive Quality team and report to the Quality Assurance Manager.
What you’ll be doing
* Conduct supplier audits using a risk‑based approach and support Procurement in the validation, onboarding, and reallocation of new and existing suppliers, with a strong focus on process capability and PPAP.
* Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics to identify underperformance and collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement effective improvement plans.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier‑related quality issues, including issue validation (drawing reviews & part measurements) and driving suppliers to implement robust corrective and preventive actions.
* Lead and support supplier meetings with both strategic and under‑performing suppliers to ensure effective communication, address operational challenges, and promote continuous improvement.
* Support New Product Introduction (NPI/NVI) projects by ensuring timely and accurate completion of FAIRs and PPAP documentation for new components.
* Lead and coordinate supplier 8D (CAPA) activities in response to customer and production issues, ensuring thorough root‑cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
* Promote structured problem‑solving methodologies, utilising tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and A3 reports to drive effective resolution of quality issues.
About you
* Hands‑on mentality with a proactive, solution‑focused approach.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge and experience with quality systems and methods such as 8D, AQL, First Article Inspection, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, process capability, and ISO 9001.
* Experience using measuring equipment (e.g., Keyence) or willingness to learn.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
* Comfort working independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
* Flexible, goal‑driven mindset, with patience and high accuracy.
* Strong analytical skills with 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
What’s in it for you
You’ll enjoy a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and a collaborative, inclusive culture where your ideas and impact truly matter. You’ll play a meaningful role in driving growth at a global leader committed to partnering with customers to make the world a better place.
