Overview
A skilled Industrial Door Engineer is required to maintain and repair a range of industrial doors across various facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to solving technical challenges.
Responsibilities
* Install, service, and repair industrial doors including roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, and high-speed doors.
* Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure systems are functioning efficiently.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in door systems.
* Liaise with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
* Maintain accurate service reports and records of parts used.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in industrial door installation and maintenance.
* Competent in reading technical drawings and electrical schematics.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
* Effective communication skills for client and team interaction.
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to the role.
* Electrical qualifications or relevant certifications will be an advantage.
