Coastal Health & Wellbeing is a community-based organisation in Wells-next-the-Sea, committed to supporting the mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing of people across North Norfolk. Through a range of local services, partnerships, and outreach projects, we aim to make wellbeing support more accessible to those who need it most.
Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Communications and Fundraising Assistant to help us grow our visibility and funding capacity. You will play a key role in sharing our story, engaging supporters, and supporting fundraising campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning and delivering communications across our website, social media, newsletters, and printed materials
* Support the development and delivery of fundraising campaigns, including online appeals, events, and grant applications.
* Help gather and write case studies, success stories, and testimonials
* Monitor and report on engagement across digital channels
* Research funding opportunities and assist in the preparation of grant applications
Person Specification
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident using social media platforms and digital tools (e.g. Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress, etc.)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Passion for community work and improving health and wellbeing
* Experience in a fundraising, communications or charity role
* Knowledge of the local area and coastal and rural health and wellbeing issues

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
