Transport Administrator

Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm
Bonds Worldwide Express Ltd, Birch Coppice Business Park, Dordon, Tamworth are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support.
The role is an important position within the team and requires a hard working applicant with the ability to solve problems, work quickly and effectively and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties for this role include:
* Processing customer orders and managing bookings
* Handling customer calls
* Updating various inhouse systems
* Regular contact with drivers
* Processing collection/delivery paperwork
* Updating customers on ETA's
* Support the team with clerical duties such as filing and record keeping
* Assisting staff at management level with any administration duties
The successful candidate will have/be:
* Recent experience working within a similar role (preferred)
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to work well alone as well as within a team
* Well organised and committed
* A proactive approach to work and have the ability to think on their feet in a fast paced environment
* Proficient with Microsoft 365/Office.
