Our dynamic team is looking for an ambitious and self-motivated team member to join as a Support Engineer. The role will also support the Internal IT, and DevOps departments, and there is room for progression to a DevOps/SRE role for the right candidate. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Being the first line of support to our customers, responding in a timely manner to tickets Prioritising, solving and escalating tickets to the relevant member of our team Application monitoring and reporting Assisting with internal IT (Azure AD, groups, permissions) Writing and maintaining system documentation Testing and evaluation of new technologies and services Working alongside the DevOps team to assist with deployments JOB REQUIREMENTS At least 2 years in a similar Customer support or Internal support role Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Azure Fundamental knowledge of Linux OS Knowledge of the JIRA ticketing system Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Javascript, Powershell ect) NICE TO HAVE Azure DevOps experience Azure Application Insights Infrastructure as Code experience GIT Knowledge Networking Python/Django/Nginx/Gunicorn PostgreSQL server/database management SKILLS Good communication skills, written and verbal Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision Ability to work well alone and as part of a team Willingness to learn, progress and innovate Benefits Laptop of your choice Competitive salary ESOP Program Monthly social events and team off-sites Regular networking events, mentoring events, and conferences Freedom to explore the latest tools and technologies Company knowledge-sharing activities Professional development and room to grow Dynamic, international team in the office in Worcester, with an option to work fully remotely.
