The role involves developing and delivering the company's integrated transport policy and strategy, fostering partnerships with local authorities, transport operators, and other stakeholders to enhance the customer journey. Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing the Integrated Transport Strategy
2. Managing partnerships and securing funding for transport projects
3. Optimizing transport policies and practices
4. Promoting integrated transport benefits within the organization
5. Supporting community rail and station adoption initiatives
6. Engaging stakeholders and ensuring GDPR compliance
The ideal candidate will have experience in transport integration, travel planning, and multi-modal initiatives, preferably outside the rail industry. Skills should include relationship building, networking, project management, and effective communication. Experience in the railway sector is a plus.
