Overview
Transformation Lead - Manufacturing (12-month FTC) at ESCO Maritime Solutions. Reporting to the Continuous Improvement and Transformation Manager, you will lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects that deliver measurable value, enhance process efficiency, and drive cultural change in line with Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Working closely with the project and functional teams, you will support the scaling up of capacity and processes across the business to enable business growth.
Location: Rugeley, England, United Kingdom
Responsibilities
* Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
* Facilitate Lean Six Sigma projects and Kaizen events across functions including operations, engineering, and logistics.
* Use data analysis and process mapping to identify improvement opportunities and develop actionable solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and eliminate inefficiencies.
* Monitor and report on the progress and sustainability of improvement projects.
* Coach and mentor employees in Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement tools.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout improvement efforts.
* Assist in the development of CI training materials and support internal capability building.
Qualifications
* Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a continuous improvement, operations, or process optimization role, preferably in maritime, logistics, or industrial environments.
* Strong analytical, facilitation, and project management skills.
* Proficient in process mapping, root cause analysis, and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional teams.
