About the Role
A leading supplier of commercial cleaning equipment is looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to cover Edinburgh and the surrounding area. You’ll be home-based, travelling directly to customer sites in your company-provided van to carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of commercial and domestic cleaning machines – from traditional models to advanced robotic solutions.
This role is ideal for someone mechanically minded, customer-focused, and confident working independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of cleaning equipment
* Provide on-site technical support and excellent customer service
* Order and manage spare parts for specific jobs and stock replenishment
* Complete all service and warranty paperwork accurately
* Advise customers on correct set-up, operation, and maintenance procedures
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer (preferably in commercial cleaning or similar sectors)
* Strong mechanical skills and ability to read schematics/drawings
* IT literate with good attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule
* Flexible and eager to learn
* Full UK driving licence
