About the Buyer/Purchaser
As the buyer/purchaser, you’ll be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. Key responsibilities include:
* Sourcing: Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favourable terms with suppliers.
* Collaboration: Act as the vital link between suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless procurement processes.
* Risk Mitigation: Monitor supply chain risks and implement solutions to prevent disruptions.
* Cost Analysis: Analyse costs, review budgets, and identify efficiencies to boost profitability.
What You’ll Need to Apply for the Buyer/Purchaser
* Purchasing experience
Your Salary and Benefits
In addition to salary, you will receive a 5% company pension, 5 weeks of holiday, plus bank holidays, with some reserved for the Christmas shutdown and death in service.
Hours of Work
36 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday to Thursday, 4 hours on a Friday – there is flexibility as to when you work your hours.
