An exciting opportunity to work with children within the Children\'s physiotherapy team for Redbridge as a Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner supporting the specialist physiotherapist leading on the EHCP provision for children attending a Redbridge Mainstream School.
To assist in assessment and treatment of physiotherapy alongside a senior physiotherapist. To order, monitor, manage, track record keeping/admin on EHCP provision and report writing. To order, monitor, record, manage the storage and set up of school/community equipment. To lead / organise / run group activity / sessions under guidance of senior physiotherapist.

Responsibilities
* To assist in assessment and treatment of physiotherapy alongside the senior physiotherapist.
* To order, monitor, manage, track record keeping/admin on EHCP provision and report writing.
* To order, monitor, record, manage the storage and set up of school/community equipment.
* To lead / organise / run group activity / sessions under guidance of the senior physiotherapist.
* To carry out an extended assistant role in identified areas having completed training and successful competency training.
Other role details
Probationary period applies. This post attracts High Cost Area Supplement (15% of basic salary, with a minimum of £4,714 and a maximum of £5,941 per annum, pro rata for part time).
To assist the physiotherapists in providing a high standard physiotherapy service to pre-school / school aged children by supporting the therapist in the screening, planning, implementation and modification of physiotherapy programmes.
