Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
42 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Maltby - Rotherham, £49,879 + benefits, 3 week shift rotating pattern – Working 1 Weekend every quarter, 12 Hour shifts either 6pm - 6am or 6am - 6pm on a rota basis.

What's the mission?
Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault-finding and equipment maintenance. You will work on various types of equipment, including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
What are the mission-critical skills?
* A good electrical working knowledge with mechanical experience is essential
* Previous experience of PLC fault finding would be an advantage
* Time served/apprentice trained in a similar position with Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent)
* A thorough understanding of the IEE 18th edition
* Good understanding of current environmental, health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
* Practical hands-on approach
* Have significant experience, understanding, and knowledge of the maintenance of a variety of plants
* Experience in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities
* Ability to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations.
* Excellent communication skills, dealing with operatives, Team leaders from both maintenance and production
