Employment Solicitor

* Leeds (Hybrid – 2 days in the office)
* Full time, permanent – 4 day week also considered
* Salary negotiable depending on experience + team and firm bonuses

This firm specialises in Employment and Family Law, alongside Workplace and Family Mediation.. Known for its friendly and professional approach, Consilia Legal prides itself on providing expert legal advice while maintaining outstanding client communication and service.


This is a small, niche practice with a supportive team and a strong reputation. With a steady stream of new leads and a growing client base, the firm is looking for someone who wants to take ownership of their work, grow with the team and play an active role in the firm’s future.


About the Role:

This is an opportunity for an employment law all-rounder, with a minimum of 3 years PQE, who enjoys working across both claimant and respondent matters.

You will manage your own caseload while also getting involved in business development, networking and marketing activity to help grow the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Consilia Legal does not operate on a no-win, no-fee basis, focusing instead on providing high-quality, professional legal services to its clients.

Your role will include:

* Managing a varied caseload of employment law matters for both claimant and respondent clients
* Providing clear, practical legal advice across a range of workplace issues
* Supporting clients with employment disputes and advisory matters
* Building strong relationships with clients and delivering an excellent standard of service
* Contributing to marketing, networking and business development activities
* Representing the firm at industry events and presentations where appropriate
* Engaging with professional organisations such as the Employers’ Lawyers Association


What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for an Employment Lawyer who enjoys a varied workload and wants to be part of a growing specialist firm. You will have a minimum of 3 years Post Qualified Experience and may currently be working as an Employment Solicitor, Employment Lawyer or Senior Employment Solicitor, with experience handling a broad range of employment law matters for both claimant and respondent clients.

You’ll be confident about building client relationships, developing your professional network and contributing to marketing and business development. Most importantly, you’ll be organised, proactive and accountable in managing your own workload, and keen to join a supportive team where work-life balance is genuinely valued.
