The role
Ferrovial Construction is seeking Environmental Graduates to assist on various major UK infrastructure projects. The 3-year graduate development programme is designed to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Environmental Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to Ferrovial Construction UK’s sustainability strategy and health and safety objectives, ensuring environmental standards are upheld on projects.
Key Accountabilities:
* Assist in writing and reviewing environmental documentation, including Environmental Management Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
* Support the development of briefing and communication strategies to ensure understanding and implementation of environmental plans by all employees and subcontractors.
* Monitor compliance of construction works on site and relevant documentation in accordance with Works Information, Ferrovial standards, and technical standards.
* Assist in preparing environmental and sustainability reports for senior management.
* Support investigations and audits conducted by the Project Environmental Manager.
* Advise on environmental requirements and best practices, promoting continuous improvement and innovation across the site team.
* Promote customer requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
* Adopt and promote Ferrovial Construction UK’s vision and values.
* Take ownership of assigned tasks and adhere to safety regulations on-site.
* Support compliance with environmental and sustainability policies and procedures.
Skills and Competence:

* Degree or Master’s in any discipline.
