The Role: The Workshop Assistant will undertake general duties of a semi-skilled and labouring nature associated with the company’s products and services and will be assembling and manufacturing the company’s product ranges. You will work from assembly, inspection and test plans, using and operating equipment and machinery specific to the job with supervision as directed by the Team Lead. Key Duties & Responsibilities: To assist with the assembly and manufacture of the company products and ongoing service work as instructed by the Team Leader/Workshop Manager. Clean and pack components to the companies specified procedures. Organise the workshop areas and keep them clean at all times. Who are we looking for? You will need to be well organised and be able to multi-task. Have good verbal and communication skills and the ability to learn in a classroom environment as well as whilst in the role. Be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working well within a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience in a workshop or similar role would be preferred. *This role is located at our Great Yarmouth, Norfolk location therefore, you will need to live within a commutable distance.
