The Team
The UK & Ireland is Deliveroo's most mature market globally. Functions include commercial, operations, and marketing. Teams in UK&I collaborate with global departments such as Product, Technology, Consumer, and Restaurants.
The UK&I Regional team drives Deliveroo's performance across five nations. From Brighton to Bangor, Bolton to Belfast, we oversee all three sides of our marketplace: restaurants, consumers, and riders.
As part of the UK&I Regional UKI team, you will sign up the best restaurants in your city/region. This presents a significant growth opportunity for Deliveroo. We are building a diverse team of talented, commercially experienced individuals to help us reach our potential.
The Role
We are seeking a Field Sales Executive to join our Manchester team. This role offers a unique chance to contribute directly to the success of your cities. You will build relationships with new restaurant partners, enhance our customer proposition, and role model best practices to your team through coaching and guidance. This position suits someone who enjoys building rapport, delivering results, and working independently. You will report to the City Manager, based in Manchester, but will spend most of your time in your assigned cities.
What you'll do:
* Map, prospect, pitch, and close new partners—finding and signing restaurants and stores that local customers love.
* Communicate via in-person visits, emails, calls, and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo's technology and business benefits.
* Establish yourself as a food delivery and restaurant industry expert in your target cities, building trust and facilitating inbound deal flow.
* Oversee the restaurant onboarding process to ensure it is quick, efficient, and seamless, supporting continuous improvement.
* Log all meetings and activities in Salesforce with clear, concise notes.
* This role requires regular travel around towns and cities in the Manchester area, from Bolton to Blackpool. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and car. We seek individuals who thrive with autonomy, enjoy a field-based role, and prefer spending most of their week outside of the office.
Requirements
* Confident and charismatic individual capable of “selling with style”.
* Proven track record of delivering outstanding commercial results.
* Strong commercial acumen, results, and target-oriented mindset.
* Effective relationship-building and communication skills.
* Self-starter, hardworking, well-organized, and comfortable working autonomously in the field 4-5 days per week.
* Preferably fluent in at least one other language (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Thai, Arabic, Vietnamese, Malay, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi).

1. Compensation: Competitive pay based on role and location, with potential bonuses, sign-on, or relocation support, and up to 5% matched pension contributions.
